Clery Act – Campus Safety Information

Crestmont University is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all students, employees, and visitors. In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), the institution is currently preparing its first Annual Security Report (ASR). 

As our in-residence campaigns opened in August of 2025, the first Annual Security Report will be published no later than October 1, 2026, and will include:

  • Campus crime statistics for the applicable reporting period(s)
  • Security Policies and Procedures
  • Fire Safety Report
  • Emergency Response and Timely Warning Policies
  • Information regarding campus safety programs
  • California Sex Offender Information Statement – In accordance with federal and California law, information concerning registered sex offenders may be obtained from local law enforcement agencies and the California Megan’s Law website at www.meganslaw.ca.gov

How to Report a Crime

Crestmont University encourages all students, employees, and visitors to report crimes, suspicious activity, or safety concerns promptly.

Emergency Contacts:

  • If you are experiencing an emergency or immediate threat to health or safety, call: 911

Once safe, you may also report the incident to:

  • Campus Security Authority (CSA)

Online Crime Reporting Form (Anonymous Option Available)

Members of the campus community may report a crime or suspicious activity by clicking the link below to complete the University’s Crime Reporting Form.

Reports may be submitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and may be filed anonymously. While anonymous reports are accepted, providing contact information may assist the University in conducting a thorough review or investigation.

All reports are reviewed promptly and handled in accordance with institutional policies and the requirements of the Clery Act.
